I had a productive weekend, always helps when the husband goes away on a nine hour fishing jaunt! I have a friends birthday coming up in April and she likes blue. So a simple table runner was in order, I selected the fabric, sewed squares within squares to fit the wadding left over strip I had. Made the squares 9 inches then lined them up amd framed them all with Kona cornflower blue. Sandwiched it quickly then started quilting it, just simple up and down straight stitching. All done and waiting on the binding.

Very productive =). Cute table runner. How long/wide is it? I've not ever used a table runner. I wonder if I should make one and try it? =)
