Day 22 of Blogtoberfest - Chaletgirls Block Swap Quilt Top Finished!
Finished! I ended up removing one of the blue blocks. Unsure about giving it to the Mother In Law now as some of the blocks are really out in the rows matching up. And others are spot on. I'll quilt it and see.
Beautiful!! I am sure it will look fine once quilted. You could still give it to your MIL. She knows it was a swap quilt so won't hold it against you if some of the points are out.
Depends on how much of a perfectionist your MIL is and how much you value your relationship! Just jokes. It looks great, and, when quilted, it'll be hardly noticeable. You could always applique on a few blue birds or butterflies over the offending mismatches :)
I somehow missed this post yesterday. Wow! This is one of those quilts that looks pretty during block assembly and layout, but looks absolutely amazing when all sewn together! I hope my value quilts end up looking this good!

Oooh I love how this has turned out, I'm sure your MIL will love it - if she doesn't, she can always send it my way ;)
