Giveaway Day!

Giveaway day is here! This is the mini quilt I have made up for offer. All free pieced. Quilted on my whiz bang new machine. I even cut up some of my new Hope Valley! Can't get more special than that.

It measures 10 x 20 inches. I'll close entries on Friday evening. I'm happy to post international. All you have to do is leave a comment, but I was thinking I might do some market research at the same time. So in your comment, tell me how much you would pay for a wall hanging quilt like this? $40? $60? $80? $100? (Talking Australian $$'s.) I'd be curious to know. Thanks. :)

Check out all the other giveaways on offer here. There are 3 lists, check them all out. Good luck!!!

How about $68 since my daughter was born June 8th? Love your color choices.

Kelly Rachel said...

Woohoo what an awesome giveaway!
I'm not really sure about the price, all I can tell you is what I've seen other wallhangings go for at markets...about $40 or so. But they weren't as fab as this one! (Nowhere near!)
I've been about as helpful as a poke in the eye. Sorry!

Jen Price said...

That is really cool! I'm not sure what I would pay in Australian dollars!

wooLynn said...

I love the colors! I would pay about $70 US for that.

Wonderful! I adore your wall hanging, it is so bright and cheerful. I don't know AU dollars, but I'd say probably around $60 Canadian. Although I know it is worth, much, much more! It is so hard to get any return on quilted beauties like yours...

This is great. I don't know how much I'd pay, but the important thing, I would think, is to find the right market where your work will get the attention it deserves. You have skill & talent, obviously. thevanandthecart[at]gmail[dot]com

It's lovely and would be adorable in a nursery. So cherrful and stimulating and unisex enough too.

I'm not very good with aussie dollars but, just for you, I used a currency converter site and I'd say about $60.

Unknown said...

I'd say $60 (had to look up a currency converter).

Gill said...

Great wall hanging - I love anything with houses!!
I can't help you with your research as I have no idea how much an aussie dollar is worth - but around £50 in the UK I guess

Wow, I love that wall hanging. I just did a wonky squares quilt that ended up being to big for a wall hanging. Anyway it has a wonky house block in the middle. Had to love the monkey on the roof :)
I have no idea how much to charge for things. Good luck.

I love this! I am a terrible person to say what price I would pay. In my current financial situation, I would oooh and aaah for a long time, and then walk away. :-)

If you're interested, visit my giveaway at www.cominguprosemary.blogspot.com ... I wasn't listed in the "willing to ship internationally" section, but I am willing!

Hi, I'd pay about $50 US, not sure what that is Australian (maybe $60?)

Beautiful work.

Aw, very cute! Thanks for giving! stacyjj3@yahoo.com

Ms Muffin said...

Well, to be completely honest - I would not pay anything for it, though I think it is worth ALOT. But as money is rather tight around my place at the moment (me staying at home with a baby, also having one older daughter) I simply rather would make a wallhanging myself than buying it. Also I love making things myself so I am rather reluctant buying things ...
But I think that wallhanging is totally cute!!! And probably worth alot since I am guessing you put alot of time into it. (I do not know about australian dollars though - I live in Germany.)
Thanks for the great giveaway!

Awesomely cute little wall quilt! At a show booth I would definitely pay $60-80, but at maybe a craft fair I'd go for about $40-60. Depends on the atmosphere, you know?

This is so cute. It's art, and like all art it's worth much more than I'd want to pay. I'd say about $50 USD. If I waited for a special occasion like a birthday, I'd be more inclined to pay more for it.
Thanks for the giveaway!

Wonderful, thanks for the chance! No idea about conversion, but I would say $80-100 US is very fair for such a wonderful work of art
