Today was the second Saturday of the month and so that meant I had my real life quilting group day. A whole 9am to 3pm of sewing!!!! I got all the coloured quilting done on my second version of DQS#9 and a third of the white swirls done. Very pleased with how it is looking.

Looking Good! Glad you got to sew today! I've done paperwork, shopping, played taxi mum, and more paperwork. And now it's after 5! Which means cooking soon...
Thats lovley Helen. I can see your free motion quilting going strong, boy I wish I could pick it up easier, still I am practicing.
I also want to do some hand quilting soon, must be crazy.
If she doesn't like the one you send her, then she has rocks in her head! ROFPML!
It looks fantastic!! The color of the flower is my favorite, and the quilting is fantastic.
Love the colours and the quilting, the petals really pop out. This one is my fave colourway.
Just stunning!
That's the stuff of heirloom quilting. Really, really beautiful.
What a lovely day...and twice a month, how fabulous!!! I LOVE your DQ's, they are really, really beautiful. Hope your partner lets you know the same soon...
Awesome quilting!
The quilting looks fantastic!!! I really need to figure out my issues with my sewing machine so I can FMQ like that!
Wow, it is looking fabulous!
And lucky you having a whole day quilting group to go to. What fun!
What a delightful day you must have had.....probably just as good as the delightful quilt this is turning into! Can't wait to see it finished!
This is the one to keep Helen...love it!
this is beautiful. i especially love the quilting. it would be awesome if you would make a short video of how you do that - i mean, create the shapes that are left over from not being quilted (the little leafy/flower type things). do you plan it out in advance?
