WIP Wednesday - More DQS #9 Flowers!

I've added the wedge pie shaped circle bit. I had to use a colour which my partner has put in his dislike column but..... it needed to be lifted! I had to use it and so hopefully she will see beyond that and maybe learn to like that colour? Maybe.... so it's all ready to be appliqued. It's small, 14 inches, so I have to do something else. A thin 1 inch border and then more applique?

And while I have been pondering that issue, I gave into the idea of making a second one. Just that damn wedge in the center to go!

WOW!! I'm loving the pink and purple one!! So you!! The orange in the centre makes it I reckon perfect colour choice!

I'm sure if your swap partner doesn't like your colour choice there will be more than enough people to take it off their hands. Stunning, as always!

Wow is right. Your quilts are great. Do you know if there are any DQS that I would be able to join? Or perhaps be put on a list for the next round? Guess you can tell I'm a newbie

Helen, this is GORGEOUS! I love it, love it, love it! And Kylie is right, if your partner doesn't like it, there will be MORE than enough people willing to take it off her hands!

They're lovely. I have that pattern, but have never been brave enough to use it.

Are you planning to stitch them by machine or hand?

I really really love these. I am going to have to try to make some of my own.

She'd be crazy not to love it just because of a little orange and yellow. And it's only a little bit and perfectly balances. And just love your second one. Will need to think about that book!

Ohhhhhh, I really like the new pink one too!!! So, what color will be in the middle of that one?

They are stunning. Based on my insider info, I say send the first one to me for safekeeping...block #2 is better suited to your partner!! (blatant, I know, but it's worth a try).

Damn, that means it's not mine! I didn't put any colors in my dislike section. :(
This is beautiful though, I'll have to put it on my list of things to make in the future.

I know this is so long ago, and I hope you don't mind, but I found this on Pinterest and came to re-pin from your blog. If this is not okay with you, please let me know.

Also, I really *really* love these 2 blocks. The colours are so fresh and happy---every thing j'adore!
