I knew I wouldn't get anything quilt related for my birthday unless I brought it for myself, so I ordered these from the Book Depositry. Great site. They arrived on Thursday! I have been eyeing these titles off for awhile, my birthday was just an excuse. Even though I love doing wonky blocks, something about the patterns in Aunt Millie's garden just make me melt. I'm hoping to get a partner in the upcoming Flickr DQS9 who would like a mini quilt like this, to give me the excuse of making one!
I have finished 4 more daizie blocks. So now I only have 6 to go.

Well, I would gladly be your partner, especially if you were going to make me something out of that fab book!!!! I need to get me a copy of Gwen's book, too. What do you think of it so far?
Those are great titles! I love the Aunt Millie projects too - I would love to be your partner....if I get in.
Great books Helen. I have that applique outside the lines and in fact that is where I got the name for my blog from :)
I am yet to use any patterns from the book but I will one day. I also purchased the book Pretty little mini quilts from the one I saw on your site I think :)
I also use book depository, and it never fails to amaze me how quick they are, things ordered in Aussie take longer to be delivered.
Perfect birthday present to yourself - I look forward to seeing your creations. And you don't need a swap as an excuse! You go for it!
:) You can be my partner! I would love anything from those books/patterns. (I always have to order my own quilt books too ~ no one else gets my obsession)
ooh greak book choices! I have the Applique outside the lines one. but i've also been eyeing the other two. Can't wait to see what you make!
Great books!!! Happy birthday :) I have been eyeing that Millies Garden book too! Is it as great as it looks?? I have the other piece'o'cake book, I love it - only the quilts are too labour intensive for me right now....unfortunately. I think your DQS9 partner is very very lucky!!
