Daizie Quilt Progress.....

I have sewn all the strips together. It's looking like this.... I'm happy with it but not ecstatic. I think it needs another row on the height as then it will sit perfectly over the pillows. And the border, it needs something.... something yellow. I'm folding it back up and putting it in the later pile till inspiration hits me.

And this is all the scraps from the green when trimmed down to 9 inches.

Oh, I am in love with that quilt! It is the most striking one I have seen lately. A yellowish border would be perfect!

It is beautiful, I love the bright colours. I don't know why you're not ecstatic, it's fabulous.

That is very much my type of quilt ... so cheerful looking. I really like the variety in the greenish colours in the background.

That is just beautiful!! I am sorry if I am being redundant or missed this along the way, but is this from Jan Mullen's book? I have that book and have wanted to make a quilt from it for the longest time. I think that you may have inspired me!

This is gorgeous! The colors are fantastic and the free form asterisks have so much life to them.

If you need a home for all those green scraps, you can send them my way!!! Beautiful quilt top, by the way - can't wait to see what you end up finishing it with!

I love this quilt! I'm thinking I could probably pull it off with just my imagination and really have some fun with some wonkiness! And seeing all those green scraps makes me excited to work on my string quilt -- I'm slowly but steadily collecting my odds and ends for it.

I really like this quilt! I've long been a fan of Jan Mullen and have made a couple of her quilt patterns.

Maybe a thin yellow border and then go back to the green...and something on the green? Hmmm, might need some more inspiration than just what I'm offering.

So cheerful though.

Wow those daisies are amazing Helen. They would have taken hours - just to sort out the fabrics :p

What about a yellow border and then a thinner pink border?

Great colors - Love it. I also like Lily's comment above - with the pink and yellow border.
