I'm thinking about making a quilt for Milly's bed with wonky square blocks. Spent a few hours today having a play with these. Pinks and purples on white I think. These would trim down to 8.5 inches.
I really love this sort of block. I want to make one for "my" bed but my partner, who prefers symmetry, says he wouldn't want something like that on "his" bed. Sometimes, I wish had my own room. LOL Andi :-)
I'm with Shannon. I could probably figure out the wonky squares eventually, but won't you take pity on my fabric please? I also love those surprise plum pieces in the corner, really makes them visually interesting. We homeschool here, and both of my boys looooove quilting and it's a great way to introduce math in the real world to them. (my oldest says this patch is 'cool')

Wow - really lovely blocks. Just perfect for a little girl.
I don't suppose there would be any convincing you to do a little tutorial on wonky squares for us beginners, would there?
Where's Ben?
