Jelly Roll Quilt Finished.

I finished the binding and the label on this quilt for Corrie's Quilts for Queensland during the week. I used some Amy Butler Midwest Modern for the backing.

We are on the tail end of Ex Tropical Cyclone Carlos this weekend which really just means a lot of rain. Hence the photos taken under the patio here!

Not bad for a quick little quilt. All ready to pop in the post on Monday.

That is so effective and as you say such a quick way to put a quilt top together - jelly rolls are so good.

I can just see that on a girls bed. It will look wondeful. Glad to hear you are not getting the full on storm. Cherrie

What a lovely top...and a great idea! I love Amy Butler fabrics and her midwest modern are perfect for this quilt! Hugs!

It's so pretty! I just won a Pure jelly roll and my plan is to make a quilt for charity with it as well...I was thinking of the Fat Quarterly quiltalong pattern, but sewing all the strips together has 'quick' appeal! I wonder if I can keep them straight?! Long strip sets are not my strength (but my piecing won't improve if I don't practice, will it?).
