Milly visits Santa.

I know its not even December yet.... but we have a Santa photo! Milly has been scared of Santa since, well forever! Her first Christmas she wasn't even two months old so no problems that year, but the last two years, she wailed and wouldn't go near him and last year she actually hid behind the pram while Grace had her shot taken. So this year I have been talking him up, she declared "Now I am 4 Mummy I'm not scared anymore!" and sure enough yesterday out shopping we went over and said hello to the jolly man. So proud, she walked up to him, said "Hello my name is Matilda and I'd like a lava lamp for Christmas thank you Santa."

We'll see what we can do Milly Moo!

Now that she has willingly gone up to Santa, you really have to get her the lava lamp :)

She looks so grown up now and so adorable

Well done, Milly! Just as well you were listening Helen, but is your daughter aware what decade it is?!

Helen that is an absolutely gorgeous photo. And it looks like a good santa too. I like to scope them out to find one that actually looks the part, no skinny santas for me.

Great photo! I hope we have a similar Christmas miracle too - I'm sooo over being in the santa photo!

It's amazing what a year can do. Austy was terrified no matter what we tried, and last year ran straight back out of the magic cave screaming, so I had to be in the shot AGAIN with a displeased look on his face. However this year every time he asks for something, and we say "No", his reply is "Well Christmas will bring it!". So he's discovered the link between Father Christmas and presents, and gladly jumped on his lap the other day and asked for "Lots of toys please"...

I have a Millie, too! She's just 19 months, though.
