DQS 10 Finished!

I finished sewing down the binding on my quilt for the flickr DQS 10. All finished except for the label! But still deciding if that label will say made by Helen for Helen. Or made by Helen for ? I'm really torn between sending away something that took ages to make to someone who hasn't expressed an interest in appreciating it. I do have another already to sandwich, but still....

One side of the rainbow....

Can't get enough of those pointy points!

I have it hanging on a rod next to Lynne's Rules quilt. It looks great. The husband suggested a queen sized bed in this pattern for our bed would look fantastic. Yes, it would........

It's gorgeous. I've given away a lot of really beautiful things I made in my lifetime and I always regret them going to unappreciative people. I'm generally a positive person but it still rankles a bit. So I say: "by Helen for Helen" Cherrie

I would appreciate it if you decide to send it elsewhere... LOL!! Just stunning and it would look fabulous on your bed.

I love the colors and all the pointy points, and can't wait to see the queen size one for the bed!!! Because if your husband would like it there, I know you will make one too. :D

I completely agree with Cherrie (willywagtail). Half a year after a swap and I still wish I hadn't sent one particular quilt off to one particular person.

"by Helen for Helen" !!! It is stunning, btw! Just beautiful!

It is a beautiful, beautiful quilt. I love your rainbow quilts! I speak from experience, of course, since I have some very, very nice flying geese in my sewing room!

Your DS quilt is just stunning, absolutely magnificent! I dare anyone to be unappreciative of that quilt! You should be feeling very chuffed with yourself - it looks fabulous!

It is stunning and I would want to keep it too. Swaps are hard - you put in so much work and sometimes you don't get any appreciation for your time and effort. Keep it

'For Leah by Helen' would be good :)

That's a hard one. It's absolutely stunning, and hard to send away when you're not sure it's going to be appreciated. That is the nature of swaps, unfortunately.

I know that I very much appreciate the little quilt that you sent me. When you (finally) see photos of my sewing room, you'll see it's in a great spot!

Anyway, you've put so much work into it and it looks amazing. Those points are spectacular! Hope you get something just as wonderful in return!

How could ANYONE not appreciate that?
Send it to me and whip up a simple 9-patch for your partner...?

Are you really considering making it up queen-size? That would be pretty cool - hubby with good taste!

I love love love how the pebbles get bigger as you get to the outside of the star. I wish the label would say By Helen for Felicity.

Gorgeous! If your partner does not like it she can send it on to me....this quilt is absolutely stunning.......I love the pebble quilting that you did on this quilt....actually I love everything about it......

Keep it. Please. Especially if she's been active in the photostream but hasn't commented on this - life's too short to give all that love and effort away to someone who won't appreciate it! You've done an amazing job - that quilt is literally pulsing with good energy!

I agree with everyone above. Keep this for yourself and make your partner something simple. Has she commented on any of the quilts in the photostream?
