Well between camping and swimming lessons starting, I have managed to get in a bit of sewing for the first week of the school holidays. I have finished the top of Matilda's bolster. This hasn't followed a pattern or a sketch like usual, I have just kind of sewn it as I went along. I'd drap it over the existing bolster to see if I was on the right track, yes, close enough and sew the next part. Lynne was great and emailed me some photos of her wonky letters. But my wonky letter sewing days are over with these seven letters!
Looks pretty cool held up to the light hey?

So cute :) I cant wait to make one for my daughter
Those houses are so pretty! And why are you not going to make more letters? You did a wonderful job! I really disliked letters when I first tried, but after a couple of tries it started to be fun!
Very cute! I've never tried to do a whole name but I can imagine they get a bit tedious - you did an incredible job on them Helen!
Your letters are great for the first ones you've ever made. I didn't like the first ones I ever made. I thought they were awful. You do get better the more you do! Wish I lived closer, I'd be happy to give you a lesson! Maybe someday!
Hey Millie.....ya-hoo....I could use a lesson too! Love the letters!
Looks great Helen. That second photo looks like a stained glass window
Love the wonky houses and trees:-)
