Its probably just not one that you'd hang on the wall coz it would bug you. But sounds like you've worked out what went wrong. Don't let this put you off trying again. Its such a cool effect.

By the way, did you know that apperantly the Amish used to deliberately put a "mistake" in their quilts to show their humility that they weren't perfect? Just say it was deliberate:)Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04416091424301654113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31791996.post-31799306760506144352010-08-04T20:40:48.442+08:002010-08-04T20:40:48.442+08:00These blocks (some of my favorites) look great in ...These blocks (some of my favorites) look great in the blue-orange -- and I totally hear your frustration with the quilting, but I know when someone's curled up with the quilt, they'll just be appreciating itPioneerValleyGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04443580327064658629noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31791996.post-71557809218609382312010-08-04T07:22:19.126+08:002010-08-04T07:22:19.126+08:00Don't be so hard on yourself! It is all in the point of view.

PS For intense quilting I bast the quilt with needle and thread. Oh, and if it is a rectangular, any flaw is an effect. If it is not - you just square the corners before binding ;)domosharhttp://domoshar.comnoreply@blogger.com
